Russian pavilions abroad. Promotion of the export of agricultural products

October 14th
11:00 - 12:30

Conference Hall 1
Awarding ceremony for the winner in the nomination "Best Operator of the AIC products pavilion abroad in 2023".

One of the effective tools for promoting and ensuring sales of Russian agro-industrial products on priority foreign markets today is the operating demonstration and tasting pavilions of products in foreign countries, the so-called "Russian National Pavilions".

Such pavilions have been operating since 2017 and are currently working in six countries: China, the UAE, Vietnam, Egypt, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia. To improve the efficiency of the pavilion system during 2022–2023 the Russian Export Center in cooperation with the Russian Ministry of Agriculture reengineered them in order to redirect the resources of the programme to direct support of Russian companies that promote and sell their products at the pavilions.

This includes support for the placement of products at retail chains, hypermarkets, and on electronic trading platforms, the delivery of samples to the pavilions, as well as the creation of a new incentive system for pavilion operators, aimed to support and scale up sales.

What are the current results, figures, and businesses’ opinions of the reengineering of the pavilions?
What opportunities are being created by the new tool to promote and sell the products of pavilion participants at Made in Russia festival and fairs, as well as the events of the Good Food Russia pavilions?
How can we scale up the promotion and sales of the products of pavilion participants to the entire market of the countries where they operate?
What can we expect from initiatives to create partner points to promote the products of the pavilions in the provinces of China, and what role do partners play in increasing sales of such products in China?
How can Russia effectively conduct promotional campaigns for its agricultural products in order to increase their level of recognition and attract buyers of the products that the pavilions are promoting on priority foreign markets?
