Opportunity Space
Despite the high quality and competitiveness of Russian non-commodity goods, their promotion in the global market remains fragmented and challenging. Brands face significant barriers: lack of recognition, difficulties in entering international retail chains, expensive logistics, and lack of resources to build their own distribution channels. As a result, the global consumer often simply does not have convenient access to a wide range of Russian brands.
The discussion aims to unite the efforts of the state, retailers, and digital platforms to create a single, recognizable entry point for foreign consumers to Russian goods. A key tool for achieving this goal is Russian marketplaces - this is a ready-made technological infrastructure for entering international markets. By expanding their presence abroad, they form a "digital bridge" for small and medium-sized businesses, opening direct access to foreign consumers with minimal costs. Unlike the point efforts of individual companies, promoting the platforms themselves solves key problems for thousands of brands at once: they provide ready-made solutions for logistics, payments, marketing, and customer service in new markets. Today, the export of Russian marketplaces is a powerful multiplier, systematically increasing the volume of non-commodity exports.
