This session is dedicated to exploring the prospects for Russian companies to enter the retail (offline/online) of key Southeast Asian markets - Thailand, Vietnam, India and Indonesia. Participants will discuss current issues of entering these dynamically developing markets, consider the specifics of working with local retail chains and their needs for imported goods, and study the specifics of promoting Russian brands in the Asian region. Special attention will be paid to analyzing consumer demand and preferences of local buyers, as well as opportunities for adapting Russian goods to the requirements of the Asian market.
Russian manufacturers have competitive advantages in a number of product categories in demand in Asian markets, such as food products, cosmetics and household chemicals, home goods, and textile products. At the same time, companies face the need to adapt their products and marketing strategies to the specifics of the Asian consumer. The opening of the Russian Export Center's foreign representative offices in Thailand, Vietnam, India and Indonesia significantly simplifies the process of Russian companies entering these markets.
