State Support Helped Businesses Export Products Abroad Worth Over $70 Billion

The volume of exports conducted by Russian companies with state support, provided by the Russian Export Center (REC) as an agent of the Government of the Russian Federation, has exceeded $70 billion over the past five years. During this time, the REC (VEB.RF Group) processed more than 25,000 applications from exporters for support. This information was shared on October 14 by Alexey Solodov, Vice President of the Russian Export Center, during the session "State Support for Export: Effective Mechanisms and Key Targets for 2025" at the International Export Forum "Made in Russia."

The Russian Export Center is the agent of the Russian Government for implementing state support programs for exports. With their help, companies can reduce costs in business processes at each stage of export activities: from research and development for new products and participating in exhibitions to seek customers, to compensating for the costs of transporting products and after-sales service.

In just nine months of 2024, state support programs helped businesses carry out export deliveries worth over $10 billion, benefiting more than 750 exporters in total this year.

"During the implementation of the national project, we not only addressed the issue of increasing the volume of support and adapting it to new conditions, but also sought to ensure maximum convenience and speed in receiving support by exporters. We have digitized 12 support programs, which has been highly appreciated by exporters," added Alexey Solodov.

Thus, most state support measures can be processed through the digital platform "My Export."

During the session, specialists from the Russian Export Center detailed the existing support measures for exporters:

- Natalia Vedischeva, head of the REC's industrial program administration, spoke about compensation for transportation costs of industrial products and agricultural products;

- Yan Zhukov, project manager for subsidy administration at the REC, discussed compensation for R&D and product homologation costs;

- Maria Budrina, head of REC's subsidy administration, talked about compensation rates within corporate programs for enhancing competitiveness;
