Russian Export Center and Association of Russian and Turkish Entrepreneurs (RTİB) have Agreed to Develop Business Cooperation

On October 21, at the Made in Russia International Export Forum held at the Russia National Center in Moscow, Russian Export Center (REC, VEB Group) and Association of Russian and Turkish Entrepreneurs (RTİB) signed a memorandum of understanding. The signing ceremony was conducted by REC Vice President Tatyana An and RTİB Chairman of the Board Ahmet Erdem Acay. The document aims to strengthen economic ties and create new opportunities for cooperation between Russian and Turkish companies.

The agreement provides for joint initiatives to support exporters, organize business events, find partners, and host events that promote the growth of Russian-Turkish trade turnover. Particular attention will be paid to industry, energy, agriculture, IT, and infrastructure projects.

RTİB, founded in Moscow in 1997, unites approximately 200 Turkish companies with a total investment volume in Russia of over $12 billion. Its activities are aimed at developing trade, economic, and investment ties, creating a comfortable environment for business dialogue, and implementing joint projects.

“Türkiye is one of Russia's key trade and economic partners. We see growing interest from Turkish businesses in joint projects, localization, and technology exchange. This year, with the support of Russian Export Center (REC), we have already concluded foreign trade deals worth over $3 billion. The agreement signed with RTİB will allow us to combine efforts to promote Russian companies in the Turkish market and expand mutual investment,” Tatyana An, Vice President of REC.

“We highly value REC efforts and are confident that our partnership with the Center will give new impetus to the development of bilateral ties. Our goal is to help companies from both countries find new opportunities for cooperation and create conditions for sustainable economic growth,” Ahmet Erdem Acay, Chairman of the Board of RTİB.

The signing of the agreement marked another step toward strengthening business ties between Russia and Türkiye and confirmed the parties' commitment to developing a mutually beneficial partnership in the long term.
