The Made in Russia forum will discuss an omnichannel strategy for promoting domestic brands on the global market

As part of the Made in Russia International Export Forum, the session “National Stores ‘Made in Russia’. Omnibusiness Strategy for Promoting Russian Goods and Domestic Marketplaces Abroad” will be held on October 21. The session will begin at 13:00 (Moscow time).

The session will focus on finding solutions to one of the main problems of Russian non-resource exports: the fragmented and difficult promotion of domestic goods in the global market. Despite the high quality and competitiveness of their products, Russian brands often face barriers such as a lack of recognition, difficulties in entering international retail chains, expensive logistics, and a lack of resources to establish distribution channels on their own. As a result, foreign consumers often do not have convenient access to a wide range of Russian products.

The discussion will bring together representatives of the government, major retailers, and leading digital platforms to create a unified and recognizable entry point for foreign consumers.

Unlike the targeted efforts of individual companies, the promotion of the platforms themselves systematically solves key problems for thousands of brands at once, providing comprehensive solutions for logistics, payments, marketing, and customer service in new markets. Today, the export of Russian marketplaces is a powerful multiplier that contributes to the systematic increase in the volume of non-resource exports.

The session will be moderated by Alexey Murzenok, Director of International Partnership Programs at the Russian Export Center (REC, VEB Group).

"The session will be an important platform for developing practical solutions and a strategic vision for strengthening the position of Russian brands in the international arena, using the advantages of an omnichannel approach and digital trading platforms. The discussion comprehensively covers not only the export and promotion of Russian goods, but also IT solutions," said Alexey Murzenok.

The event will be attended by speakers from among representatives of executive authorities, development institutions and players of the global e-commerce market.

Add, the REC creates ready-made technological infrastructure and complex solutions for logistics, payments, marketing and customer service, forming a “digital bridge” for exporters. This significantly reduces costs and simplifies the way for domestic companies to go abroad. In particular, the REC provides comprehensive support to Russian exporters to enter foreign marketplaces through its digital platform “My Export”.

The key service is "Marketplace Selection." It allows companies to find the best international and foreign marketplaces for free and quickly. The service analyzes up to 150 marketplaces based on 30+ parameters, taking into account the specific features of the product and its export readiness. In addition, the REC's services facilitate the placement of products in the "Made in Russia" national stores on international and foreign country marketplaces and in offline sales channels. These stores operate under a single brand, increasing the visibility of Russian products. You can place your products in the Made in Russia National Stores by submitting an application for the Marketplaces service. Placement in the National Stores. In addition, the My Export platform provides access to services such as logistics consulting, assistance with obtaining permits, and research of foreign markets.

As a reminder, registration for the Made in Russia International Export Forum is open until October 13 on the official website: forum.exportcenter.ru. Participation is free. As part of the forum, from September 1 to October 22, the Russian Export Center will organize a large-scale Made in Russia exhibition at the National Center "Russia" exhibition, where the achievements of domestic exporters will be showcased. Visitors can visit the exhibition for free after registering on the website russia.ru. The business program is sponsored by the Government of Moscow. The Made in Russia national brand is jointly promoted by the Russian Export Center and the Roscongress Foundation.

It provides both financial and non-financial assistance to companies from various industries at all stages of entering international markets, including as part of the International Cooperation and Export National Project.
