Russia-UAE Bridges to be Built at the Made in Russia Forum

Russian business is increasingly looking towards the Middle East, and above all, towards the United Arab Emirates. Today, the UAE is one of Russia's key trade and economic partners, providing businesses with access to markets across the Middle East and Africa.
On October 21, the Russia-UAE Business Dialogue “Bridges of New Opportunities” will take place at the Made in Russia International Export Forum. Leading experts will discuss new niches for cooperation, promising areas in trade, investment, and logistics, as well as support measures for companies interested in entering the Emirati markets. The Forum is organized by the Russian Export Center (REC, VEB Group).
The speakers include representatives of major Russian companies, UAE business associations, and government agencies from both countries: President of AIM Congress Daud Shizawi, First Deputy Chairman of the Council of Muftis of Russia, Deputy Chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation Rushan Abbyasov, Partner and Head of International Business at B1 Irina Bykhovskaya, and others.
Participants will have the opportunity to discuss practical cases, share their experiences, and establish direct contacts with potential partners.
"Today, the UAE is viewed by businesses not only as a market with high purchasing power, but also as a strategic hub for entering the MENA region. We are already seeing greater integration and mutual interest between the two countries in developing cooperation in many areas. The session will serve as a platform for direct dialogue between business and government, as well as for exploring new opportunities and strengthening trade, economic, and cultural ties between Russia and the UAE," said Najibullo Jabbori, a representative of the Russian Export Center in the UAE.
The Made in Russia International Export Forum will be held on October 21 at the National Center "Russia" in Moscow. Participation is free. Registration for the forum is open until October 13 on the official website: forum.exportcenter.ru.
The Made in Russia Forum annually brings together thousands of participants from more than 80 countries, including business representatives, government agencies, and scientific and business communities. It is the main event of the year for entrepreneurs seeking to scale their businesses, expand their exports, and find reliable partners. In 2024, the forum was attended by approximately six thousand people, and 75 companies showcased their Made in Russia products, demonstrating the high level and diversity of Russian exports.
As a reminder, from September 1 to October 22, the Russian Export Center will organize a large-scale Made in Russia exhibition at the National Center "Russia" in Moscow, showcasing the achievements of Russian exporters. Visitors can visit the exhibition for free by registering on the russia.ru website.

The Forum is organized by the Russian Export Center. The general partners are EXIMBANK and EXIMBANK. The business program is supported by the Government of Moscow.

The Russian Export Center (REC, VEB Group) is a state-owned institution that supports non-resource-based non-energy exports. It provides both financial and non-financial assistance to companies from various industries at all stages of entering international markets, including through the International Cooperation and Export National Project. Most of REC's services are available online on the state-owned digital platform "My Export."
