REC’s Export School (part of the REC Group and VEB.RF) and Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) have agreed to collaborate on attracting young people to foreign economic activity as a career path. The cooperation agreement was signed on October 21 at the Made in Russia International Export Forum at Russia National Center by Alisia Nikitina, General Director of the Export School, and Elena Anokhova, First Vice Rector of MIPT.

The agreement aims to coordinate the efforts of REC’s Export School and MIPT to provide Russian export businesses with qualified personnel in line with new skill requirements arising from companies’ reorientation to new markets.

Specifically, the organizations plan to hold their own thematic events for MIPT students, such as master classes and competitions on foreign trade topics, incorporate educational content from Export School into the institute’s master’s programs, and organize School participation in the all-Russian conference dedicated to Digital Transformation of Science and Education, organized by MIPT.

“Cooperation with the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology opens up new opportunities for training qualified personnel in foreign economic activity. Students will receive expanded educational opportunities, and export-oriented businesses will receive specialists ready to develop international trade and strengthen Russia's technological sovereignty,” Alisia Nikitina, General Director of REC’s Export School.

"Signing an agreement with REC’s Export School is another important step toward ensuring our students understand not only how to create technologies but also how to transform them into world-class products. Joint programs with REC will combine MIPT's scientific strength and technological expertise with the practical experience of a leading state institute in export. We strive not only to train engineers and researchers, but to foster a new generation of technology entrepreneurs, those capable of strengthening Russia's export potential and building international cooperation in knowledge-intensive industries,” Elena Anokhova, MIPT First Vice Rector.
