Business dialogue "Moscow – Thailand. Export development in the field of cinema and animation" will be held on October 21 as part of the International Export Forum "Made in Russia", a key event for entrepreneurs seeking to export and find reliable partners abroad. The forum is organized by the Russian Export Center (VEB.RF). The session is held in partnership with the Moscow Export Center.
Moscow is a key driver of Russia's creative industries exports, accounting for more than half of them. Cinema and animation occupy a special place in this segment, actively conquering foreign markets, including those in Asia. Russian projects are characterized by high quality, original plots, and a unique edutainment format (education through entertainment), which attracts significant interest from international audiences.
As part of the business dialogue, representatives of Moscow film studios, animation companies, and industry experts will discuss prospects for cooperation, export opportunities, and joint projects in the Thai market with Thai partners.
Representatives of the Russian Ministry of Culture, Moskino, the Agency for Creative Industries, the Moscow Export Center, and Russian creative industries, as well as delegates from Thailand, will discuss the trends in the Thai market and the prospects for Russian potential, as well as the forms of possible cooperation.
The Made in Russia International Export Forum annually brings together thousands of participants from more than 80 countries, including business representatives, government agencies, and scientific and business communities. It is the main event of the year for entrepreneurs seeking to scale their businesses, expand their exports, and find reliable partners. In 2024, the forum was attended by approximately six thousand people, and 75 companies showcased their Made in Russia products, demonstrating the high level and diversity of Russian exports.
The forum will be held on October 21 at the National Center "Russia" in Moscow. Participation is free. Registration for the forum is open until October 13 on the official website: forum.exportcenter.ru.
As a reminder, from September 1 to October 22, the Russian Export Center will organize a large-scale exhibition, Made in Russia, at the National Center "Russia," showcasing the achievements of Russian exporters. Visitors can attend the exhibition for free after registering on the website russia.ru.
The Forum's general partners are EXIMBANK and ROSEXIMBANK. The business program's partner is the Government of Moscow.
The Russian Export Center (REC, VEB Group) is a state-owned institution that supports non-resource-based non-energy exports. It provides both financial and non-financial assistance to companies from various industries at all stages of entering international markets, including through the International Cooperation and Export National Project.
