Regions are actively joining the promotion of the Made in Russia national brand. Russian Export Center (REC, VEB Group) signed a number of relevant cooperation agreements with the regions on October 21 on the sidelines of the Made in Russia International Export Forum at Russia National Center.
Four regions have joined the promotion of the Made in Russia federal national brand program, namely Volgograd, Vladimir, Arkhangelsk Oblast, and the Udmurt Republic.
The documents were signed by Vice President of Russian Export Center Tatyana An, Head of ESC in the Volgograd Region Victoria Afanasova, Head of ESC in the Vladimir Region Darya Grechukhina, Head of ESC in the Udmurtia Republic Valeria Antonenko, and General Director of Agency for Regional Development of the Arkhangelsk Region Ekaterina Stashkevich.
The agreements expand opportunities for promoting domestic products abroad and strengthen national brand recognition. Regions will now be able to use the Made in Russia brand on their digital resources and at international exhibitions and fairs, other public events.
"Through this agreement, we are combining our efforts to promote and develop awareness of the Made in Russia national brand, to enhance the competitiveness of our products, and to increase export volumes in target markets. Companies in the region will have even more opportunities to promote themselves under the Made in Russia label, which continues to gain increasing trust among our international partners,” Tatyana An, Vice President of the Russian Export Center.
The Made in Russia program includes voluntary certification available to companies in all non-resource export sectors. Obtaining the certificate entitles them to label their products with an international quality mark and receive additional promotional tools abroad. Thirty-one companies in Vladimir, 19 in Volgograd, 16 in Udmurtia, and 11 in Arkhangelsk have already confirmed their compliance with the program's requirements and received the certificate.
The Made in Russia program is being implemented as part of the International Cooperation and Export national project. It is coordinated by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, and Russian Export Center is responsible for the program's implementation and delivery. In 2025, the government, at the instruction of the President, adopted an updated Made in Russia program, which expanded the range of tools for promoting Russian products abroad.
Since 2022, thanks to the program's activities, over 3,700 companies have been able to increase their visibility, find partners and buyers, and gain a foothold in foreign markets. Export contracts worth over 420 billion rubles have been signed.
More information about the program can be found on the official REC website at madeinrussia.com.
