New International Ambassadors of the National Brand Introduced at the Made in Russia Forum

At the Made in Russia International Export Forum, new international ambassadors of the Made in Russia national brand were officially announced. They are prominent figures from Thailand and Indonesia: Ms. Supaporn Kiattisin and Mr. Pangeran Siahaan. Their mission is to represent Russia's values and achievements on the global stage, actively promoting country's image as a reliable partner and manufacturer of high-quality products.

"Made in Russia brand ambassadors are, first and foremost, communicators of our values, our commitment to development and leadership. They are those who share our commitment, Russia's commitment, to trusting, long-term partnerships across all spheres and industries. Whether it's collaboration within a single professional community, a single region, a single country, or even across the globe, our ambassadors are united by a sincere love and trust for all Russian, as well as a desire to present our country to everyone. They strive to uncover its economic, scientific, and technological potential, its cultural and historical value, and its great achievements. Whether it's football, figure skating, music, art, or diplomacy, these are all languages in which we want to tell the world about Russia,” Veronika Nikishina, General Director of Russian Export Center (REC, VEB Group).

Made in Russia ambassadors already include Russian and international sports legends, Olympic champions, popular TV hosts, and others. These are people who have made and want to make a personal contribution to the development of the Russian economy, demonstrating to the world that Russia knows how to create high-quality and competitive products.

Among the new ambassadors is Ms. Supaporn Kiattisin from Thailand, a distinguished scholar and expert in computer science and digital technologies. A PhD in computer engineering and a Royal Golden Jubilee Fellow, she holds international certifications in IT management, cybersecurity, and data protection. Over the past 15 years, Ms. Kiattisin has led and implemented dozens of major research and applied projects for key ministries and agencies in Thailand, including the digitalization of cultural heritage, the development of a blockchain-based e-voting system, the creation of AI for water supply systems, and e-government architecture. The author of over 90 scientific publications and a member and chair of the IEEE EMBS Thailand, she is an active guest speaker on digital transformation, AI, and digital resilience, with extensive connections in administrative, academic, and government circles. Her deep involvement in the development of AI and data protection standards makes her an ideal conduit for promoting high-tech Russian solutions.

The second new ambassador is Mr. Pangeran Siahaan, director of the Indonesian Terang Javas Indo Trade, which specializes in export and import of fertilizers, coffee, coconuts, and coal briquettes. Pangeran Siahaan is also known as an influential media figure and journalist in Indonesia. A graduate of the Faculty of Communication Sciences at Mestopo University, he rose from a sports journalist to media director in a successful campaign for the governor of Jakarta. His extensive media resources in Indonesia make him a valuable partner in promoting Russian business and shaping a positive image of Russia in Southeast Asia.

As noted by Russian Export Center, the selection of Ms. Kiattisin and Mr. Siahaan as ambassadors underscores Russia's strategic commitment to expanding dialogue and strengthening partnerships with countries in Southeast Asia and the Global South. Their active participation and media influence will be an important tool for fostering an objective and positive image of Russian products, technologies, and culture in these key regions on the international stage.
