The Made in Russia forum will discuss the contribution of sustainable development and recycling to the economy

In the context of growing demand for natural resources and global environmental challenges, the transition to a closed-loop economy and "green" practices is becoming a key driver of sustainable development.
On October 21, the International Export Forum "Made in Russia" will host a session supported by the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry titled "Sustainable Development and the Green Economy. Export Potential and Factors of Economic Growth".
The following key speakers have been invited: Vyacheslav Fetisov, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Ecology, Natural Resources, and Environmental Protection; Denis Butsaev, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation; Elena Myakotnikova, Chairman of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Council on Sustainable Development and CSR; Irina Tarasova, General Director of the Russian Ecological Operator; Irina Bakhtina, Deputy General Director of EN+ Holding for Sustainable Development and Director of RUSAL for Sustainable Development; Irina Bakhtina, Chairman of the National ESG Alliance; Maxim Remchukov, Director for Sustainable Development at Sibur; and Dmitry Kravchenko, Director of RUSLOM.Viktor Kovshevny, Deputy General Director for Finance and Sustainable Development at Delo Management Company LLC, Elena Svirina, Director of the Department for the Implementation of Federal Development Projects at the SKOLKOVO School of Management, and Irina Mironova.
The main topics of discussion will be: – the contribution of recycling to the economy: new jobs, innovation, and cost reduction; – the formation of the waste management industry in Russia and its export potential; – the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and ESG transformation of businesses, and more.
The session will be of interest to anyone interested in green economic growth.
The Made in Russia International Export Forum annually brings together thousands of participants from more than 80 countries, including business representatives, government agencies, and scientific and business communities. It is the main event of the year for entrepreneurs seeking to scale their businesses, expand their exports, and find reliable partners. In 2024, the forum was attended by approximately six thousand people, and 75 companies showcased their Made in Russia products, demonstrating the high level and diversity of Russian exports.
The international forum will be held on October 21 at the National Center "Russia" in Moscow. Participation is free. Registration for the forum is open until October 13 on the official website: forum.exportcenter.ru.
As a reminder, from September 1 to October 22, the Russian Export Center will organize a large-scale exhibition, Made in Russia, at the National Center "Russia" exhibition, showcasing the achievements of Russian exporters. Visitors can visit the exhibition for free after registering on the website russia.ru.
