An awards ceremony for the best operator of Russian national agricultural pavilion 2024 was held at the Made in Russia International Export Forum, which took place on October 21 at Russia National Center. The ceremony was part of the From State Support Measures to an Ecosystem: New Opportunities for Russian National Pavilions Abroad in Promotion and Retail Sales expert session.
Alexey Solodov, Vice President of Russian Export Center (REC, VEB Group), emphasized a significant increase in the efficiency of the pavilions.
“We are pleased to see that the program's development continues. It has undergone a transformation over the past year. Operators are finding motivation to further develop their pavilions and promote Russian companies. This confirms their ability to adapt and increase export deals and shipment volumes.”
Energiya Eksporta Group, operator of the national agricultural pavilion in the People's Republic of China, we recognized to be the best national pavilion operator for 2024. The company's representative was awarded a prize and a certificate of honor for their achievements in promoting domestic agricultural products on the international market, which is particularly valuable given the increased demand for Russian goods in China.
Ilya Romanov, CEO of Energiya Eksporta Group, explained how their pavilion in China has become an innovative platform for piloting new approaches. Thanks to the overwhelming demand from Chinese businesses for developing trade with Russia and their active work, regional pavilion locations have already been established in eight Chinese provinces through partnerships with local distributors. Logistics infrastructure and offline retail sales channels, operating under the Made in Russia and Russian national pavilion brands, are actively developing.
As a clear demonstration of success, Ma Qingchuan, legal representative of Heilongjiang Transportation Investment International Logistics Trade Group Co., Ltd. (regional partner in China), presented an innovative supply chain management and product traceability system that is already in operation at the first Made in Russia retail store in Beijing.
REC also recognized Diva Export Food Industry Trade Ltd., operator of the pavilion in Türkiye, for its customer-focused approach and innovative promotional efforts. Daniela Edis, Deputy General Director of Diva Export Food Industry Trade Ltd., shared valuable experience in promoting Russian products in Turkish retail chains and the HoReCa segment.
The award ceremony was also attended by Olga Konovalova, Acting Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Licensing in Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, and Ekaterina Fomina, Head of the Department for Development of Agricultural Exports of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
